OWH - created cards from This week's sketch #106

Had fun today creating cards using sketch #106 as a start - used Doodlebug, SU papers/cardstock, SU ribbon, SU Stamps.  Thinking of you, Birthday, Easter and Hero cards were the creations today. Almost have my 50 cards for January - goal for February is 100 cards.

Also, my best friend Charlene keeps having more grandchildren. Grandchild number 7 was born this month so I needed a baby boy card, made my first easel card, 6 inch square using Doodlebug baby boy pack of papers and embleshments.

Used today's sketch to create a boy birthday card - had to clean up my over zealous inking though - nice sketch - used SU cardstock, cutouts with Cricut Essentials, doodlebug strips/ribbon, SU simple alphabet stamps for the name.

New Cards

Had a very productive day creating cards for the troops (OWH) - it was fun thinking of new ideas.

First - started with Hero cards using SU - Courage and Service and Sacrifice stamps - various card stocks - Stampin Up, DCWV, Doodlebug, and misc punches

Used K&Company papers/embellishments, Stampin Up cardstock, SU Happy Harmony stamps.

Stampin Up papers, K&Company paper borders, SU - A Light Heart/Service & Sacrifice stamps

Stampin Up/K&Company papers embellishments - SU Text & Texture stamps.

I really need to work on Birthday cards but just felt like everyday/Love cards today.  I have a collection of 25 for my OWH box and plan to add 50 more before the end of the month.

Another nice sketch from OWH - used Stampin Up stamps, cardstock and ribbon, punches and a few misc emellishments.

I think I will try some hero cards with this sketch as well.

New Year - will try and create more cards for the troops this year - just started last year - so the weekly sketches are a great way to get the creative juices going - I need several Birthday cards the next few months so thought I would start there.
Shopped in my collection of Stampin Up stamps again - I need to use my stamps more often since I have so many.

Details - SU stamps from  - Happy Together, Figures of Speech, Happiest Birthday Wishes, Two step stampin - card stock from Stampin Up and various scraps.
Card on the right - decided to use the OWH January challenge and use 3 patterned papers on one card.

I know there are more ideas for this sketch in me, just need to get to work.  I love the weekly Sketch challenges from OWH.
